PDU Power Distribution Unit
The PDU is used for local connection of the test specimen when the I-TS or MI-TS is installed some distance from the test chamber. Depending on current rating, it is a control cabinet or a wall-mounted IP54 enclosure with connection busbars, safety control and status indication.Who Is the PDU For?

When the I-TS/MI-TS sits at a distance, the PDU brings busbars, safety control and status indication to the point where the test specimen actually connects.

Red, yellow, green and white indicators communicate fault, ready, test mode and stop without needing to check the (M)I-TS display.
Protection options match the test object
A protection diode variant blocks source operation, useful for fuel cell testing, and a short-circuit bracket allows safe maintenance work (except on battery DUTs).
