AGX Series Regenerative AC/DC Power Source

The AGX Series combines an AC/DC source, current source, and optional electronic load in a single chassis, fully programmable for all AC and DC regenerative power applications. Power density spans 6 kVA to 24 kVA per 4U chassis, up to 216 kVA in a single 19-inch cabinet, up to 432 kVA in dual paralleled cabinets, and up to 1.296 MVA in custom three-phase, high-power systems on request.

Who Is the AGX For?

Test labs and engineers in aerospace and compliance testing, EV charging/V2G/V2X, smart grid and utility grid validation, solar inverters and energy storage systems, university and research labs, and UPS/PDU testing, who need a single regenerative, bidirectional AC/DC test system.  

Constant power voltage range.

The AGX offers higher current at lower voltage and higher voltage at lower current within a single constant-power range, eliminating range-switching and the output disruption it can cause.

Best-in-class current availability.

Up to 48A per phase (45-200Hz), around 37% more current at lower voltage than a typical competing unit that maxes out at 35A/phase, reducing the risk of over- or under-sizing the power source.

Most flexible output configuration.

Simultaneous AC, DC, AC+DC and DC+AC operation is available per phase/channel with automatic mode switching, in single, split, three-phase and multi-channel configurations, with full galvanic isolation.

Built-in SmartSource Suite control.

The AGX includes Pacific's SmartSource Suite platform for full remote control, development and real-time execution of test sequences through an embedded web-browser interface accessible from any device.
