I-TS-3872 / I-TS-3872-SiC DC Source/Sink

The I-TS-3872 is Gustav Klein's liquid-cooled, dual-channel DC source/sink from the standard line: the two channels can run individually, in series or in parallel, and selected options extend it for specific applications. A SiC (silicon carbide) version is planned, offering the same footprint at higher power output.

Test engineers who need higher DC power (300-880 kW) in a compact, liquid-cooled footprint for battery, fuel cell and powertrain testing — including EV/EVSE testing and applications where two channels in series or parallel simplify the test bench — and who value a standardized product over a fully custom build.

Available Models & Accessories

The I-TS-3872 is available in three standard liquid-cooled configurations from 300 kW to 880 kW at up to 1500 V and 1000 A, plus two planned SiC variants at 1200 V and 2000 A. Options add special input voltages, a function generator for superimposed AC signals, additional fieldbus interfaces, and cabinet finishing options. PDSB and PDU distribution accessories, and the Safety Master for parallel operation, are available separately.
