SGX Series — Modular High-Power DC Power Supply (5 kW – 975 kW)
The Sorensen SGX Series is a modular, high-power programmable DC power supply covering 5 kW to 975 kW. Built around a 5 kW power module in a 3U chassis, one to six modules per chassis deliver 5–30 kW with the industry’s highest power density at 20 V output.

The SGX Series addresses applications that demand both high absolute power and precise dynamic control — EV powertrain testing, grid-tied inverter evaluation, semiconductor burn-in and industrial drive validation. The 5 kW module architecture allows systems to be right-sized for each application without over-specifying, and future capacity expansion requires only adding modules. The front air intake design is critical for dense rack installations: SGX units stack without any ventilation gap. When connected in parallel, all SGX units operate under a unified control architecture — from the host system's perspective, the array presents as a single, high-current supply.
