Ametek Programmable Power

The Sorensen XG 850 Series is a compact 850 W programmable DC power supply in a 1U half-rack chassis, delivering the highest power density in its class. Up to 30 XG units can be networked via RS-485 for centralized multi-channel control.

The XG 850 Series is built for environments where space is at a premium but full programming capability is essential. At 850 W in a 1U half-rack package, it delivers more than double the power density of conventional full-rack 1U supplies. HALT testing during design ensures robust long-term reliability in demanding continuous-duty environments. The RS-485 multi-drop bus allows a single computer interface to control up to 30 XG units simultaneously, drastically simplifying the wiring of multi-channel automated test systems.
