The Sorensen DCS Series is a rugged, reliable programmable switched-mode DC power supply family offering 1 kW, 1.2 kW and 3 kW output power. The DCS uses unique multi-range packaging to deliver full rated power at any V×I combination within the rated limits.

The Sorensen DCS Series has been a staple in R&D labs and production floors for decades, valued for its robustness, wide model selection and straightforward operation. This makes it highly versatile across changing test requirements. The 3 kW models add digital remote programming via Ethernet and a front-panel output standby mode. With output voltages up to 600 V and currents up to 350 A, the DCS family spans a wide application range from precision component characterisation to high-current burn-in.
