Asterion DC ASA / ASM Series — Multi-Output DC Power Supply
The Sorensen Asterion DC ASA and ASM Series are compact multi-output DC power supplies in a 1U chassis, offering three independently controlled and isolated output channels. The ASA provides three 600 W channels (1,800 W total) with autoranging; the ASM provides three 1,700 W channels (5,100 W total).

Multi-rail DC power is a common requirement in electronics test: device under test boards may need +12 V, +5 V and +3.3 V simultaneously, each with independent current limiting and fault isolation. The Asterion DC ASA and ASM Series address this need in a single 1U rack unit. Because all channels are electrically isolated from each other, they can be used independently, combined in series for higher voltage or combined in parallel for higher current. The ASA's autoranging characteristic enables each channel to deliver maximum current at reduced voltages, improving test coverage without additional hardware.
