Schlöder CDNs provide precise, repeatable coupling of conducted RF disturbances onto power, signal, and interconnection lines per IEC 61000-4-6 and NAMUR, while protecting auxiliary equipment from test signal interference. Available in multiple types — CDN-M (supply lines), CDN-AF (audio/PLC lines), CDN-T/RJ (communication cables), and shielded-cable variants (USB, HDMI, FireWire) — with a wide range of connectors, current ratings, and calibration adapters.

Schlöder CDN Series Coupling/Decoupling Networks are precision accessories for conducted RF immunity testing per IEC 61000-4-6 and NAMUR NE-21. Each CDN couples the RF disturbance signal from the generator onto the line under test at a defined asymmetrical impedance, while simultaneously decoupling the auxiliary equipment — power supply, measurement instruments, or peripheral devices — from the test signal to prevent interference with the measurement. The CDN series covers virtually every line type encountered in EMC testing. The CDN-M range handles single- and multi-phase mains supply lines from 1 to 5 conductors, with current ratings up to 125 A and operating voltages up to 1000 VAC. CDN-AF and CDN-T types address unscreened balanced and unbalanced signal lines, while CDN-S types handle screened cables with BNC, XLR, and SUB-D connectors. Dedicated CDNs are available for RJ45, HDMI, FireWire, CAN-BUS, USB Type-C, and USB 3.0 interfaces. All CDNs in the range share a common calibration adapter system, reducing the investment in calibration tooling when multiple CDN types are used in the same laboratory. The 10 kHz variants extend coverage down to 10 kHz for NAMUR and low-frequency conducted immunity requirements.
