FFT Field Receiver
The FR4003 FFT Field Receiver is a sophisticated measurement solution that integrates a full CISPR 16-1-1 receiver directly into a rod antenna structure. Designed for precision electric field analysis, it operates across a 9 kHz to 30 MHz frequency range and supports both swept and gapless FFT measurement modes. This dual-mode capability allows engineers to achieve extremely fast measuring times while maintaining full compliance with international standards such as MIL-STD and DO-160.
Construction of the FR4003 focuses on signal purity, utilizing a scattering-free design to ensure measurements are taken in an undisturbed field. The internal receiver architecture includes embedded preselectors, attenuators, and preamplifiers to optimize the signal-to-noise ratio. Furthermore, the unit features a fiber optic serial link that allows for remote control via PC or integration with the 9010F series, effectively isolating the measurement equipment from the monitoring station.
The system is highly versatile, doubling as a field generator through its on-board tracking generator which can broadcast internally generated signals. It also includes an automatic diagnostic system and a capacitance meter to verify grounding effectiveness and ensure accurate calibration. The FR-4003 model comes as a complete package with controlling PC software and a plug-in rechargeable Li-ion battery, providing the portability required for extended field operations without external power.
