KRE-4000 Modular Relay Switching Unit
The KRE-4000 is a modular RF relay switching unit that automates the routing of RF generators, amplifiers, antennas and other test equipment on an EMC or RF test bench, replacing manual patch-cabling with remote-controlled switching.Who Is the KRE-4000 For?
EMC and RF test laboratories that need to automate the routing of generators, amplifiers, antennas or filters on a test bench instead of manually re-cabling between measurements.Available Models & Accessories
The KRE-4000 is supplied as a customer-configured relay switching unit; there is no fixed model list, since relay types, connectors and housing size are selected per application. The KVE amplifier switching unit and the KRM relay switching module use the same underlying switching technology for more specific applications. One switching platform, built to the application.
The same KRE-4000 chassis is populated with the relay types, attenuators and splitters a specific test bench needs, rather than forcing a fixed configuration.
DC to 50 GHz in one product line.
Relay selection alone determines the usable frequency range, so the same platform covers everything from low-frequency automation to millimetre-wave test setups.
Proven in demanding EMC applications.
Used, for example, to switch a 4-range LNA bank for antenna measurements from 100 kHz to 18 GHz, or RF power amplifiers rated up to 2 kW at 1 GHz.
Scriptable, automated test benches.
LAN, USB, IEEE-488 and fibre-optic control, plus on-board storage of measurement procedures, removes manual re-cabling from repeated EMC test routines.
