EMCL Coupling Clamps / ABCL Decoupling Clamps
Schlöder EMCL coupling clamps and ABCL decoupling clamps are essential accessories for conducted RF immunity testing per IEC 61000-4-6, enabling clamp injection without direct cable connection. The EMCL clamps couple RF disturbance onto cables up to 20 mm (EMCL-20) or 35 mm (EMCL-35) diameter, while the ABCL clamps decouple auxiliary equipment from the test signal. Compact, robust, and easy to integrate into any CDG 7000 or CDN-based test setup.

Schlöder EMCL EM coupling clamps and ABCL decoupling clamps provide a practical solution for conducted RF immunity testing on cables and harnesses where a direct CDN connection is not possible. Compliant with IEC 61000-4-6, the EMCL clamps couple the RF disturbance signal onto cables without requiring any modification to the cable or its connectors — the clamp simply closes around the cable bundle. Two cable diameter versions are available for each clamp type: up to 20 mm (EMCL-20 / CDN ABCL-20) and up to 35 mm (EMCL-35 / CDN ABCL-35). The low insertion loss of the EMCL design means the standard 10 V test level can be achieved with approximately 15 W of RF amplifier power. Each unit is supplied with a calibration set and individual calibration data traceable to national standards. For applications requiring coverage below 100 kHz, the optional EMCL-NW_10 matching network extends the frequency range down to 10 kHz, allowing use with the BCI-P1 probe for combined low- and high-frequency conducted immunity testing.
