CDN BCI Bulk Current Injection probes/Monitor Probes
The Schlöder CDN BCI-P1 injects RF current directly into cables and harnesses to test immunity to radiated electromagnetic energy, per IEC 61000-4-6 and ISO 11452-4. It clamps around cable diameters up to 40 mm, features an integrated temperature sensor, and offers low insertion loss. Combined with the MT-1 matching transformer, it extends coverage down to 4 kHz and meets ISO 11452-4 and MIL-STD-461 (CS114) requirements.

The Schlöder BCI-P1 is a foldable bulk current injection probe for directly injecting RF current into cable harnesses and individual cables, simulating the effect of electromagnetic fields without requiring a shielded room or antenna setup. Compliant with IEC 61000-4-6 and ISO 11452-4, and — with the MT-1 matching transformer — MIL-STD-461 CS114, the BCI-P1 covers the full range of automotive, military, and industrial conducted immunity applications.
The probe clamps around cables up to 40 mm in diameter and covers the frequency range from 1 MHz to 400 MHz. An integrated temperature sensor monitors the probe during high-power testing, while low insertion loss ensures efficient power transfer to the test cable. Each probe is supplied with a calibration jig and calibration certificate traceable to national standards.
The BCI-P1_MT-1 variant includes the MT-1 matching transformer with switchable turns ratios, extending low-frequency coverage down to 4 kHz to satisfy the extended requirements of ISO 11452-4 Ed. 5 and MIL-STD-461 CS114.
