VIS Series Voltage interruptions, variations and dips Simulators
The Schlöder VIS 1700 simulates voltage dips, short-term interruptions, and voltage fluctuations to test electrical and electronic equipment immunity per IEC 61000-4-11 (AC) and IEC 61000-4-29 (DC). It handles single- and three-phase equipment up to 16 A per conductor, simulating 100% interruptions, dips via external step transformer, and gradual fluctuations with an automatic ramp function, plus inrush current measurement.

The Schlöder VIS 1700 is a voltage interruption and dip simulator designed to test the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment to mains supply disturbances per IEC 61000-4-11 (AC) and IEC 61000-4-29 (DC). It simulates the full range of disturbances specified in both standards: 100% voltage interruptions, voltage dips to defined percentage levels, and gradual voltage fluctuations via an automatic ramp function.
Single- and three-phase equipment up to 16 A per conductor can be tested directly. Voltage dips to 0%, 40%, 70%, and 80% of nominal are generated via the external VIS 740 step transformer accessory, which provides the precise switching required for IEC 61000-4-11 compliance. The instrument also measures inrush current during interruption recovery, providing additional data relevant to power supply and appliance qualification.
Control software is included as standard, and factory calibration is supplied with the VIS 1700-1 model, supporting use in accredited test laboratories.
